Position Overview:


As an Account Coordinator at Wonder, you will play a hybrid role bridging client communication and internal project management. You will support client relationship development while helping manage project workflows, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations. Working closely with senior team members, you’ll gain hands-on experience in client strategy, project coordination, and internal operations, building a foundation for future growth in account management or project leadership.


Successful Outcomes:


Short-term (first 3-6 months):

  • Build trust-based relationships with assigned clients through proactive communication and reliable follow-through.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of client updates, project timelines, and status reports.
  • Coordinate internal tasks, ensuring milestones are tracked and deadlines are met.
  • Identify potential client needs and flag upselling or cross-selling opportunities to senior team members.


Long-term (6-12 months and beyond):

  • Independently manage smaller client accounts or projects with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute to client growth strategies by providing insights and recommendations.
  • Improve internal workflows by identifying and suggesting enhancements to project management processes.
  • Drive strong client satisfaction scores by consistently delivering on promises and solving challenges quickly.


Core Responsibilities:


Client Coordination & Relationship Support:

  • Support client communications, including preparing meeting presentations, notes, and follow-ups.
  • Capture key action items during client meetings and promptly input them into project management systems to ensure clear ownership and next steps.
  • Follow up with creative teams to track project status, confirm next steps, and maintain momentum within the studio workflow.


Project Management & Internal Workflow:

  • Open new jobs in all systems and initiate new job setup processes to ensure smooth project launches.
  • Track project timelines and deliverables using project management tools.
  • Coordinate tasks across internal teams (creative, strategy, production) to keep projects on schedule.
  • Monitor scope and flag potential changes or risks early.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and status trackers.

Qualifications:


  • 1–3 years of experience in a marketing or advertising agency (agency experience required, internships can apply).
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and collaborative project management tools (e.g., Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and various marketing project types.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple projects.

Applicant Phase:

1. Apply on our website from the LinkedIn job post below. 

- We'll accept or reject your application within 3 days.

2. If accepted, you'll be asked to take the next step and record a 60 second video on why your a great fit for this position.

- We'll accept or reject your video within 3 days.

3. If accepted, we'll schedule a 30-minute zoom interview to discuss your qualifications.

- We'll accept or reject your interview within 3 days.


Candidate Phase:

4. If accepted, you're considered a Qualified Candidate and will be asked to take the Kolbe A Assessment and the Working Genius Assessment. You'll get copies of both for free.

- Based on the assessment insights, we'll inform you if you're moving forward or disqualified from the process at this step. 

5. If accepted, you'll come in for a 90 minute interview with relevant team members at our offices.

- Based on the interview insights, we'll inform you if you're moving forward or disqualified from the process at this step. 

6. If accepted, you'll be held in our Final Candidate Queue and will be asked to come in for a Final In-Person Interview with the Hiring Manager. 

- Based on the interview insights, we'll inform you if you're remaining in the Final Candidate Queue or disqualified from the process at this step.


Verbal Offer:

7. Once we have all Final Candidates to this step in the process, we’ll extend an offer to our desired Candidate verbally. You’ll have 24 hours to let us know any questions that you may have to be fully informed to make a decision.


Formal Offer:

8. If you approve the Verbal Offer, you’ll receive all details in a Formal Offer Letter and have 48 Hours to accept the offer.
